Aqib Hamid

Aqib Hamid is a student at Clarkson University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. Aqib served as an Engineering Project Lead, where they engineered a ducted wind turbine model and demonstrated problem-solving skills in complex engineering projects. They also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at LaBella Associates, assisting in the design of HVAC systems. Previously, Aqib gained experience as an Engineer Intern at Mughal Steel and conducted structural analysis for the Boeing CH-46E rotor blade, co-authoring a notable paper. Additionally, they have taken on leadership roles as a Resident Advisor and President of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, actively contributing to mentoring and community engagement initiatives.
