Lourenco Thavar

Lourenco Thavar has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Promoter and Brand Ambassador for Tribe SA on a part-time basis until 2019. In 2019, they joined Mobitainment South Africa as a Data Capturer for a few months. After that, they had an internship at Europ Assistance, where they focused on Procurement and Claims. Currently, since 2019, they are working at Sasfin. Lourenco began as an Asset Finance Graduate and later became a Consultant. Currently, they hold the position of Junior Accountant.

Lourenco Thavar completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Management Accounting, and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand between the years 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Rand Park High School and earned a Senior Certificate from 2009 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Lourenco obtained various qualifications in finance, leadership, accounting, and financial analysis. Lourenco completed "Finance Foundations: Risk Management" and "Productive Leadership" from LinkedIn in August 2022. In June 2022, they finished the course "Financial Modeling: Build a Complete DCF Valuation Model" from Udemy. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Accounting, Bookkeeping & Financial Analysis" from Udemy in March 2022, "Financial Accounting Foundations" from LinkedIn in July 2021, "Financial Modeling and Forecasting Financial Statements" from LinkedIn in July 2021, "Financial Performance" from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI) in July 2021, and "Managerial Economics" from LinkedIn in July 2021.
