Jim Barnes

Jim Barnes is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in research and development in the coatings and adhesives industry. Currently serving as a Senior Chemist at Sashco since July 2009, Jim Barnes focuses on formulating and supporting a range of products including stains, coatings, sealants, caulking, and adhesives within a small R&D team. Prior to this role, Jim Barnes worked at Behr Process from July 1994 to July 2009, where responsibilities included formulating paints and coatings. Jim Barnes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned between 1989 and 1994.
