Kanaris Paraskevopoulos

Kanaris Paraskevopoulos has extensive work experience in the technology and information management field. Kanaris started their career at Saskatchewan Government Insurance in 2000, holding various roles such as IT Programmer Analyst, IT Analyst, Technical Architect, and IT Architect. In 2009, they joined iQmetrix as the Director of Infrastructure, overseeing infrastructure-related operations. Kanaris later became the Head of Infrastructure and Operations, leading the development of cloud-based retail management solutions for the North American wireless industry. In 2018, Kanaris returned to Saskatchewan Government Insurance as the Vice President of Technology and was subsequently promoted to the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Digital and Information Officer. Kanaris'sresponsibilities include leading the technology and data streams of SGI's transformation initiative and implementing new systems and processes to help SGI become a leading digital insurer.

Kanaris Paraskevopoulos obtained a BaSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science from the University of Regina from 1995 to 2000. Kanaris also attended ACS Athens (American Community Schools), but the specific dates and degree obtained are not provided. Additionally, they hold a certification in Digital Transformation from the Boardroom Course from Badgr (now part of Instructure), obtained in 2022.
