Aaron Genest

Aaron Genest is a Senior AE Manager at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where management of a team of Applications Engineers across the Americas is a key responsibility. With a rich background that includes roles such as Customer Experience Director at Solido Design Automation and Technical Sales Operations at Mentor Graphics, Aaron possesses extensive expertise in technical sales, customer experience, and team leadership. Complemented by a commitment to academia, Aaron serves as an elected Senator at the University of Saskatchewan and holds positions on several advisory councils, including the Dean of Engineering Advisory Council at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the Executive in Residence at Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre. Aaron also serves as President of the SaskTech Association, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing technology in Saskatchewan. Education includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan, alongside a diploma in Jazz Piano from Berklee College of Music.
