Fatimah Islam

Fatimah Islam is an Engineer in Training at SaskPower, specializing in Transmission Engineering Stations since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant, Community Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Regina from January 2021 to May 2023. Fatimah also contributed as a Machine Learning Researcher at Croptimistic Technology Inc. and held a Machine Learning Research Intern position at Mitacs between January and June 2022. Earlier experience includes an internship at banglalink from January to June 2020. Fatimah holds a Master of Science in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Regina (2021-2023) and a Bachelor's of Science in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh (2016-2020). Additionally, Fatimah completed secondary education at Bangladesh International School English Section in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (2009-2016).
