Rob Nicolay

Robert Nicolay is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both private practice and governance. As a Partner at Bridges & Company LLP since March 2012, Nicolay has demonstrated leadership within the legal field. In addition to this role, Nicolay serves as a Board Member at SaskPower, where responsibilities include chairing the Governance and HR Committee since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Staff for the Minister of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing with the Government of Saskatchewan from November 2007 to March 2012, and practicing as a Lawyer at McDougall Gauley LLP and McKercher LLP. Nicolay began legal training as an Articled Student after obtaining a Juris Doctor degree in Law, Political Science, and History from the University of Saskatchewan between 1994 and 2000, followed by completing the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2020.
