Urvi Gala is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the field of power engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at SaskPower since May 2011. With roles that include Technical Development & Standards Engineer and Network Management Engineer, Urvi has contributed significantly to distribution system performance and analysis. Concurrently, Urvi is an Assessor for the Experience Review Committee at the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) since September 2018. Prior to the current position, Urvi gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Lab Demonstrator at the University of Saskatchewan, focusing on Electric & Magnetic Circuits and Mechanics. Urvi began a career as a Project Engineer Intern at the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. after completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai and later earning a Master of Science in Power Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
