Mike Menzies, P.Geo has diverse work experience in the field of geology and mining. Mike is currently employed at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) since 2017, where they hold the position of Project Manager. Prior to this, they worked as a Remediation Field Specialist at SRC. In 2017, they worked as an Exploration Geologist at Pioneer Exploration, subcontracted to Silver Standard Resources. At QF Placer Gold Ltd., from 2015 to 2016, Mike worked as an excavator operator and exploration geologist in a placer gold mine. Before that, they were a surveyor at Athabaskan Resource Company, where they worked on the Kearl Fine Tailings Treatment (KFTT) project. In 2013, they served as a Junior Mine Geologist at Procon Mining & Tunnelling Ltd, and in the previous year, they worked in the same role at Golden Band Resources. Mike's early experience includes working as a Field Geologist at Alexis Minerals and as a laborer at Shore Gold Inc.

Mike Menzies, P.Geo pursued their undergraduate studies from 2007 to 2011 at the University of Saskatchewan. During this time, they successfully obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree with a focus on Geology/Earth Science, General.
