Reza Hashemi, PhD, P.Eng, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Reza'smost recent position was as the Manager/Senior Research Engineer at the Pipe Flow Technology Centre at Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), where they have been working since June 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Research Engineer at SRC starting from June 2012.
Before their time at SRC, Reza was a Ph.D. Candidate and Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where they conducted research and provided assistance from January 2007 to June 2012. Reza also served as a Teaching Assistant at the university from September 2008 to December 2011.
Reza's career began in 2004 when they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Research and Development division of Iran khodro Industrial Group until March 2006. Reza also gained valuable experience as a Site Engineer at Tehran refinery for a brief period from May 2001 to September 2001.

Reza Hashemi, PhD, P.Eng, PMP completed their education in a chronological order. Reza obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical engineering with a focus on Natural gas processing from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in the years 1999 to 2002. Reza then pursued their Master of Science (M.S) in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Reaction engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at the University of Alberta from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical engineering, specializing in Multiphase flows.
