Jacqueline Hurlbert has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Jacqueline worked as the Director of Marketing at the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club Inc. since 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Manager of Marketing & Community at the same company.

From 2020 to 2021, Jacqueline served as the Director of Ticket Sales & Marketing at the Nanaimo Clippers Junior 'A' Hockey Club, where they were responsible for various marketing and community outreach initiatives.

Jacqueline also gained valuable experience as the Director of Business Operations and Community Relations at the Canmore Eagles Junior 'A' Hockey Club from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the same organization from 2016 to 2018.

In 2019, Jacqueline was chosen as a Team AJHL - Media and Communications representative for the Alberta Junior Hockey League, where they managed digital platforms and coordinated communications for a major tournament in Russia.

Prior to that, they served as the General Manager of the Cochrane Generals Junior Hockey Club from 2012 to 2017, overseeing team management, media, and sponsorship.

Jacqueline also contributed to the Alberta Cup as part of the Host Committee in 2016-2017.

Jacqueline Hurlbert attended Cochrane High School from 2004 to 2008. Jacqueline then went on to study Communication and Media Studies at the University of Calgary from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, in January 2013, they obtained a certification in Respect In Sport from Hockey Alberta. During their education, they also participated in programs such as Class Afloat - West Island College International in 2007 and studied at the American International School in Sydney, Australia from 2006 to 2007.
