Shane Nichol

Shane Nichol is an experienced technology leader with over 25 years at SaskTel, currently serving as the Director of IS Solutions Development. Shane has a proven track record in building and managing high-performance teams, overseeing significant projects related to billing and network integration, and aligning technology strategies with industry advancements such as 5G. Previous roles include IS Solutions Manager, Service Manager for Wireless Delivery, and Manager of Technical Assistance, where Shane effectively bridged various organizational functions to optimize wireless services and address performance issues. With a background in technical analysis and network engineering, Shane has developed expertise in security tools and support for SaskTel's complex computing environment. Education was completed at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Technologies from 1994 to 1996.
