Andries Botha

Andries Botha has extensive work experience, starting in 1994 as a Chemical Process Engineer at Mintek, where they focused on process design and small-scale experimental work. In 1996, they joined Microsteel as a Production Engineer, responsible for the design and operation of a stainless steel production plant. Since then, Botha has held various roles at Sasol, including Area Leader for Calcination Operations, Senior Business Analyst, Senior Manager for Decision Analysis, Senior Manager for Investment Analysis, and General Manager for Investment Analysis & Business Intelligence. Andries has also served as Vice-President and Head of Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, responsible for managing the project portfolio and establishing a center of expertise for investment and valuation analysis. Botha has expertise in project management, investment analysis, and strategic decision making.

Andries Botha completed their high school education at Sasolburg High School from 1985 to 1989. Andries then pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit, graduating in 1993.
