Fay Hoosain

Fay Hoosain has a strong background in corporate governance, compliance, and ethics. Fay has held various leadership roles at Sasol Limited, including Senior Vice President: Governance, Compliance and Ethics, Senior Vice President: Strategic Projects, and Executive: Office of the CEO. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing the company secretarial function, leading strategic projects, and ensuring effective coordination and communication within the organization. Prior to their time at Sasol, Fay worked at Shell Oil Company as a Senior Legal Advisor and Competition Law Subject-Matter Expert. Fay also has experience as a Senior Associate at Bowman Gilfillan and as the Founder and CEO of Big Ticket Items. Currently, they serve as the Director at The Ethics Institute.

Fay Hoosain holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International and Comparative Politics & Private Law from the University of Cape Town, which they received between 1992 and 1997. Fay also obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the same university. Additionally, they have a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
