Hennie Schoeman

Hennie Schoeman has over 25 years of work experience at Sasol Synfuels and Sasol Group Technology. Hennie has held various roles, including Head Project Management at Sasol Group Technology since 2014. Prior to that, they were the General Manager of the Sasol Synfuels Projects Department, where they were responsible for managing the full portfolio of project execution. Hennie also held the position of Departmental Manager in the Growth and Mega Projects Department, overseeing the successful delivery of mega projects and investment programs. Throughout their career, Schoeman has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in project management, engineering, and stakeholder management.

Hennie Schoeman has a diverse education history. In 1989, they completed Grade 12 (Matric) at Clanwilliam High School in Western Cape. Hennie then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) degree at Stellenbosch University, which they completed in 1994. After that, they attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree in 2001. Hennie went on to study at the Stellenbosch Business School, obtaining a Bachelor of Business Management and Administration Honours (BBA Honours) in 2003 and a Masters of Business Management and Administration (MBA) in 2005, specializing in Business Management.
