Henrik Borgs

Henrik Borgs has extensive work experience in financial controlling, planning and optimization, and business analysis. Henrik has held various leadership positions, including Vice President Financial Controlling & GRC at Sasol since November 2020. Prior to this role, they served as Director Planning & Optimization Performance Chemicals and Senior Manager Financial Controlling at Sasol. Henrik has also worked in business controlling and production controlling roles at Sasol, where they developed advanced financial ratios and reporting tools. Before joining Sasol, Henrik worked at Bakelite AG in the Environmental Affairs Department, where they focused on environmental matters and process safety analysis.

Henrik Borgs has a Diploma in Engineering (Verfahrens- und Umwelttechnik) from Hochschule Wismar, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Henrik also participated in the Managing Managers Development Programme at GIBS Business School from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they completed the Leadership Transition Programme at INSEAD in 2019 and the first 90 days course at IMD in 2018.
