Mabel Smangele Mathibela

Mabel Smangele Mathibela has extensive work experience in the field of data analytics and data engineering. Mabel Smangele worked at Sasol where they held various roles, including Data Engineering Lead & Delivery and Chief Digital Office | Snr Spec: Data Enablement. Prior to Sasol, they worked at Deloitte & Touche as a Data Analytics Manager and at Ernst & Young as a Senior Associate - Data Analyst. Mabel's career spans from 2005 to the present, showcasing their expertise in data and analytics.

Mabel Smangele Mathibela obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria from 2001 to 2004. In 2015, they earned their Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA. Later, in 2016, Mabel obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA. In 2019, they completed the Data Management Fundamentals Exam at the Practitioner Level from DAMA (Data Management Association) Southern Africa. Currently, Mabel is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration at the Wits Business School, starting in 2022 and expected to finish in 2023.
