Makhali Nyokong

Makhali Nyokong has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Makhali currently holds the role of Vice President Human Resources at Sasol, which they started in March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head HR Business Services and Head Business Services HR at Sasol from November 2020 to February 2022. Makhali also had a previous stint as a Vice President Human Resources at Sasol from July 2019 to May 2021. Before joining Sasol, Makhali worked at the South African Reserve Bank as the Divisional Head HR Business Partnering from February 2014 to March 2016. Makhali also held various positions at Sasol, including Manager HR: Sasol New Energy and HR Business Partner and Diversity Manager from February 2008 to February 2014. Makhali'searlier career includes roles at South African Breweries as a Brand Manager and HR Specialist from 2004 to 2007, and at Unilever as an HR Specialist from 1999 to 2003.

Makhali Nyokong obtained a BA degree in Industrial Psychology from Rhodes University from 1994-1997. In 1998, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Management at Wits Business School, specializing in Business Management.
