Steve Torchia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in market development, product innovation, and strategic management across multiple companies in the chemical and materials sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Market Development & Product Innovation at Sasol since November 2018, Steve focuses on sustainable strategies for the polymer and rubber markets. Previous roles include leadership positions at Robert LeShea, Inc. as CEO, Baerlocher USA in various capacities including Global Steering Committee member and Business Director, and Chemtura as Americas Regional Sales Lead. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from The University of Kansas and advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Houston.
