Vishen Naicker

Vishen Naicker is an experienced professional in the chemical engineering field, currently serving as Manager of Performance Evaluation and Production Accounting at Sasol since August 2012. In this role, Vishen manages a team responsible for the monthly performance evaluation of the Sasol Secunda plant while driving optimization efforts to enhance critical performance factors. Previously held positions at Sasol include Senior Specialist in Strategy Planning and LP Modelling, where Vishen led the Volumes Budget Team, and Senior Process Engineer in Group Technology, overseeing the commissioning and start-up of an Ethylene purification plant. Vishen began the career as an Engineer in Training at Linde Gas, focusing on LNG flowsheet optimization, after starting as a Process Engineer and later a Junior Process Engineer at Sasol, contributing to various plant operations and optimization efforts. Vishen holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and graduated with distinction in Mathematics and Science from Glenhaven Secondary School.
