Jarmo Korhonen

Head Of Early Childhood Education at City of Sastamala

Jarmo Korhonen has a diverse work experience that includes both professional sports and early childhood education. Jarmo started their career as a professional athlete in the Finland Volleyball League, playing for Muuramen Lentopallo from 2007 to 2012 and then for the Finland Volleyball League from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, Jarmo transitioned to the field of early childhood education, starting as an Early Childhood Teacher with the City of Sastamala. Jarmo then progressed to become the Regional Director of Early Childhood Education from July 2018 to January 2019. Currently, Jarmo holds the position of Head of Early Childhood Education at the City of Sastamala.

Jarmo Korhonen earned a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Jyväskylä. Jarmo attended the university from 2007 to 2014.
