Margarita Lukjanska

Margarita Lukjanska has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering and testing. Margarita began their career in 2012 as a Team Lead Senior Test Engineer at SIA Eptron, where they worked on biometrics applications and media management related software testing. In 2011, they were a Lecturer at Riga Technical University, and in 2013 they were Technical Support for the XXV Nationwide Latvian Song and XV Dance Celebration Dance Evaluation Jury. In 2014, they returned to SIA Eptron as a Senior Test Engineer and Team Lead Senior Test Engineer. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at ALS, and then in 2017 they began working at Basecone as a Senior Software Test Engineer. In 2019, they moved to 25Friday as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, and in 2020 they were a Senior Quality Engineer at Tillster, Inc. where they participated in Scrum ceremonies, manual and automated testing for newly developed features, maintenance of the E2E test automation framework, bug reporting and triage, and presentations on https://k6.io/ and https://stryker-mutator.io/. Finally, in 2021 they began working at Checkout.com as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, and in 2022 they began working at Sastrify as a Senior Software Engineer in Test.

Margarita Lukjanska obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate between 2003 and 2007. Margarita then went on to receive a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano between 2008 and 2011. In 2008, they also obtained an ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level) certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2011, they received an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence certification from Udacity. In 2013, they obtained a WEB Development - How to Build a Blog certification from Udacity. In 2016, they obtained a User Experience: The Beginner's Guide certification from Interaction Design Foundation (IDF), a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates, and a Statistical Thinking for Data Science and Analytics certification from edX. Finally, in 2018, they obtained an ISTQB® Certified Tester - Foundation Level - Extension, Agile Tester certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
