Antoine Karam

Antoine Karam has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Antoine currently serves as the Broadcast & IT Director at SAT-7, where they provide strong leadership to meet strategy and budgetary goals. Antoine oversees the global IT & Broadcast operation and leads the business intelligence unit, introducing automation in business processes.

Prior to their role at SAT-7, Antoine worked at World Vision, where they held multiple positions. Antoine served as an Information Security Advisor, developing and enhancing security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Antoine also led incident response plans to mitigate security breaches and assisted offices with PCI DSS compliance. Antoine also held the position of Global Advisor - Data Protection Management | InfoSec, where they reduced data risk and safeguarded privacy rights through privacy impact assessments and privacy by design assessments. Antoine collaborated with Legal and Audit to ensure global privacy laws and regulations compliance. Additionally, Antoine worked as a Hub ICT Manager and ICT Manager - LEBANON at World Vision, managing virtual ICT teams, identifying IT priorities, and implementing backup/disaster plans for data integrity and security.

Antoine's earlier work experience includes roles as a System Administrator at Quantum Communications s.a.l, Technical Support and Business Analyst at Ever Team, and IT Executive at Construction Material Company - CMC. Antoine also served as a Technical Support Engineer at Fusion Telecommunications International.

Antoine Karam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Computing from Notre Dame University - NDU. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Strategy Consultant from Kobalt Media (now CaratNL), PCIP - PCI Professional from PCI Security Standards Council, CIPT from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, GDPR Compliance: Essential Training from LinkedIn, and CISA from ISACA.
