Sarah Gordon is a seasoned professional in the fields of geoscience and sustainable development, currently serving as Co-Founder of Critical Productions, which focuses on addressing raw material sourcing and usage for energy transition. As CEO and Co-Founder of Satarla since 2014, Sarah has helped establish a global network of over 90 associates across multiple countries. In addition to these roles, Sarah co-founded Responsible Raw Materials, aiming to promote responsible sourcing of minerals, and co-founded ESGuide, a software solution for managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks. Sarah also holds board positions with Women In Mining UK and Geology for Global Development, and has extensive experience with Anglo American in various leadership roles. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Geoscience and Planetary Science from Imperial College London and a BSc in Earth Science from the University of Glasgow.
