Francesca Gear is a Development Engineer and Engineering Liaison at SATCO, INC. since April 2022, providing crucial support to production, engineering, and quality teams while troubleshooting production issues and managing digital documentation. Prior experience includes working as an Aircraft Deicer at Integrated Deicing Services, LLC from December 2018 to April 2022, ensuring commercial and cargo aircraft were safe for takeoff. Francesca also served as an Astronomy Educational Outreach Intern at Cincinnati Observatory, educating children about astronomy, and as a WISE Research Fellow at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on data filtering research related to the Cosmic Microwave Background. Francesca holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Cincinnati, earned in April 2021, and graduated with a high school diploma from Loveland High School in May 2016.
