Joseph Hartwig

Joseph Hartwig possesses extensive experience in security and law enforcement, currently serving as a KES Security Specialist at State Farm ® since July 2019. Joseph also fulfills the role of Instructor-assessor at the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System, where Joseph has contributed for over 15 years, assisting in SWAT training and assessing regional SWAT teams. Joseph has held the position of Commander for the Weapons of Mass Destruction Special Response Team, overseeing CBRNE response training. Previous experience includes teaching at Illinois Central College, supervising deputies as a Lieutenant for Peoria County Government, and leading the Central Illinois Emergency Response Team in high-risk operations. Joseph began a career in law enforcement as an undercover Narcotics Officer with the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group. Joseph holds education credentials from Quincy University and the Academy of Our Lady-Spalding Institute.
