Niels Anders

Niels Anders is a Remote Sensing Software Engineer at Satelligence since June 2019, with previous experience as a Software Developer at Geodan and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam and Wageningen University, focusing on climate change impact, terrestrial biodiversity, and UAV-based remote sensing. Niels holds a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, where the dissertation concentrated on automated geomorphological mapping using laser altimetry data. Niels also contributed to education by developing materials on GIS and remote sensing at the University of Amsterdam and interned as a research assistant in Venezuela, conducting field campaigns related to climatic and soil hydrology.
