James Harrison

James Harrison has a diverse range of work experience. James currently works as a Senior Backend Engineer at Satellite Vu since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Developer at Kantar from 2022 to 2023, and a Developer at the same company from 2020 to 2022. Before joining Kantar, James worked as a Developer at Mavens of London from February 2020 to September 2020. Additionally, they have experience as a Social Secretary at Imperial College Lawn Tennis Club from September 2018 to July 2019. James also has research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Imperial College London, where they worked on machine learning methods for star classification from June 2018 to September 2018. James has also worked as a Customer Assistant at Waitrose & Partners from August 2016 to September 2017, and as a Stock Management Assistant at John Lewis & Partners from September 2013 to September 2015. Furthermore, James gained research experience as a Nuffield Research Placement at the University of Hertfordshire in July 2014, where they contributed to the discovery of binary star systems.

James Harrison attended Stanborough School from 2008 to 2013, where they completed their GCSEs. From 2013 to 2015, they continued their education at the same school and obtained an A-level in Physics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. In 2015, James pursued higher education at Imperial College London, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from 2015 to 2019.
