Head Of Imagery at Satellite Vu

James O'Connor has held a variety of positions in the geospatial engineering and earth observation data science fields. In 2021, they were appointed Head of Engineering at Satellite Vu, and prior to that they were a Senior Geospatial Engineer and Geospatial Engineer at the same company. In 2018, they worked as an Earth Observation Data Scientist at KisanHub. From 2014 to 2015, they were a PhD candidate at Kingston University, where they generated a python library for a specific project and participated in 8 academic conferences, presenting 11 pieces of research. From 2012 to 2011, they travelled and volunteered at Quetzaltrekkers Xela.

James O'Connor has an extensive education history. James obtained their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin between 2006 and 2010.
