Jaume Gibert

Jaume Gibert is a Senior Data Scientist at Satellogic since May 2022, with prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at WIRIS and R&D Computer Vision Engineer at EURECAT-Centre Tecnològic de Catalunya. Gibert has a strong background in computer vision, having led R&D projects and developed applications for industrial quality control at New Concept Vision. Academic contributions include a postdoctoral research role at GREYC focusing on skeletal shape matching and a tenure as an Assistant Professor at UAB, teaching computer science topics. Gibert holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Pattern Recognition from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, alongside a Master's in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's in Mathematics.
