William McVicar

William (Bill) McVicar, PhD, currently serves as the Director at Satellos Bioscience and as Chair of the Board of Directors at Salarius Pharmaceuticals. As a Principal Consultant at BioStrat Consulting LLC, McVicar also held leadership positions as President & CEO of Neuromity Therapeutics, Inc. and as President and CEO of Flex Pharma. Previous roles include EVP, Chief Scientific Officer, and President at Inotek Pharmaceuticals, as well as VP of Product Development at Sepracor Pharmaceuticals and Head of Program Planning and Management within the Gene and Cell Therapy Division at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer - Gencell. McVicar began a career in the pharmaceutical industry as an International Project Manager at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Sandoz). Academic achievements include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Vermont and a BA in Chemistry/Secondary Education from SUNY Oneonta.
