Kaiyuan Chen (Derek)

Derek Chen started their work experience as a Corporate Business Intern at Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. in May 2019. KaiYuan (Derek) then became a Finance Intern at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore from September 2019 to November 2019. In July 2019, they participated in the Inside Industry program at J.P. Morgan. In January 2020, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at NYIC (NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL, LLC) until May 2020. In June 2020, they joined Deutsche Bank for the DB Academy program. From June 2020 to September 2020, they worked as a Mergers and Acquisitions Intern at KPMG. Starting from February 2022 until July 2023, they served as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst at 马维中国. Currently, as of August 2023, they are an Investment Banking Analyst at 华兴资本.

KaiYuan (Derek) Chen pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from 2018 to 2021 at the National University of Singapore. Prior to that, they attended ACS International from 2013 to 2017, where they completed their International Baccalaureate.
