Ben Davies

Ben Davies, P.Eng. is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on systems and quality engineering in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Systems & Quality Engineering Manager at Satisfai Health since February 2023, Ben oversees the development of computer vision tools for endoscopy, emphasizing AI productization, safety, and cybersecurity. Previously, Ben worked as a Biomedical Systems Engineer at HealthTech Connex Inc., where a quality-focused SOP framework was developed for the NeuroCatch Platform under Health Canada and FDA regulations. At StarFish Medical, experience ranged from mechanical engineering roles, improving manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability, to developing medical device designs for clinical trials. Earlier roles included positions at University of Victoria as a Teaching Assistant and various engineering functions at Laborie and Baylis Medical Company. Ben holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biological Engineering from the University of Guelph.
