Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes has a comprehensive work experience in the ophthalmic and precision optics manufacturing industry. Richard most recently served as the President of North America at Satisloh, where they provided strategic leadership, managed daily operations, and developed personnel. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at Essilor, including Vice President/General Manager of Essilor Laboratories and Vice President/General Manager of North East Partner Labs. During their time at Essilor, they were responsible for profitability, business development, and integration of acquisitions. Before joining Essilor, they served as the President & CEO of Beitler McKee Optical Company. Overall, Richard Hughes has a strong background in driving business growth, managing P&L, and implementing effective strategies in the optical industry.

Richard Hughes studied Economics at Furman University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Richard went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
