Zayar Tun

Zayar Tun has a strong background in engineering, particularly in firmware development. Zayar started their career as a Firmware Engineer at SATO Singapore in January 2006 and worked there until October 2008. Zayar then joined SATO America in November 2008 as a Firmware Engineer and worked their way up to the role of Senior Firmware Engineer in March 2011. Zayar Tun continued to grow in the company and became the Assistant Manager of R&D from April 2014 to March 2017. Zayar then served as the Manager of R&D from April 2017 to May 2022. Currently, Zayar Tun holds the position of Senior Manager of Engineering at SATO America. In this role, they oversee various engineering teams and is responsible for developing high-quality solutions for customers, creating roadmaps for product and system integration, and optimizing development practices and processes in alignment with the company's technology strategy and direction.

Zayar Tun pursued their education at Yangon Technological University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electronics. Zayar furthered their studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master's Degree in Computer Control & Automation.
