Bob Bonner has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.
At their current position as Vice President of Development at Satoshi Energy, they began in June 2022 and has an ongoing role.
Before that, they worked at Duke Energy Corporation for a significant period. Bob started as a Senior Accounting Analyst in February 2013 and progressed to roles such as Lead Financial Analyst, Lead IT Business Analyst, Manager of Portfolio Analytics & Reporting, and Director of Commercial Middle Office and Portfolio Analytics & Reporting. In these roles, they demonstrated skills in finance, analytics, cost savings, workforce optimization, and contract analysis, and renewal. Bob'stenure at Duke Energy Corporation ended in June 2022.
Prior to their time at Duke Energy, Bonner worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Carolina Handling from August 2011 to February 2013.
Bob also gained experience at AMEC, where they worked as a Staff Accountant and later as a Junior Accountant, from December 2008 to August 2011. Bob'sresponsibilities included intercompany reporting, audit coordination, financial statement preparation, cost coding, and process improvement.
Bonner started their professional career as an Accountant at R C Bonner Associates, Inc. from November 2007 to November 2009.
Bob also gained valuable experience outside the finance industry. Bonner worked as a Center Director, Math Director, and Web Developer at Lafayette Academy from September 2003 to October 2007. In this role, they managed the educational center and oversaw the welfare of employees and students. Bob'sresponsibilities included curriculum development, staff training, customer service, marketing, and website maintenance.
Additionally, Bonner held positions as Youth Director at LUMC from June 2004 to July 2005 and as a Youth Intern at MVPC from July 2002 to June 2003. In these roles, they organized and led youth events, provided music for church services, and delivered messages and lessons to students.
Bob Bonner attended Campolindo High School from 1994 to 1998, where they did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. From 1998 to 2002, they attended Wheaton College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Economics. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Music from California State University - East Bay from 2004 to 2006. Finally, Bob completed their education at UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business, where they obtained a Master's degree in Accountancy from 2009 to 2013.
