Marek Palatinus

Marek Palatinus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marek co-founded Trezor in 2013, where they served as Co-Founder & CEO, and later became Co-Founder & Advisor. In 2013, they also co-founded SatoshiLabs and held the position of Group Co-Founder & CEO. In addition, Marek co-founded Tropic Square in 2020, Invity.io in 2019, and Vexl in 2021, where they were an advisor for each company. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they founded Slush Pool in 2010 and served as its Founder for nearly a decade. Marek started their career as an Analyst and Developer at WDF - Web Design Factory and later worked as an Enterprise Architect at Ceska sporitelna, where they gained experience in the financial industry and complex systems. Before that, they were a Developer/Analyst at NetCentrum, responsible for IT architecture and development of a Czech information portal.

Marek Palatinus obtained their MSc. degree in Information Management from the University of Hradec Králové, where they studied from 2003 to 2009.
