Martin Milata

Martin Milata has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Martin started their career at OrbisNet as a Programmer/Sysadmin, where they were responsible for the administration of Linux-based routers and servers. Martin also developed and maintained a system for centralized network management, using Linux networking, Perl, PHP, Bash, and SQL. Martin then joined Red Hat as an Intern, gaining valuable experience before moving on to the role of Software Engineer. At Red Hat, they worked from 2011 to 2017. After Red Hat, Martin worked as a Contractor at Ubiquiti Networks from 2017 to 2019. There, they contributed as a contractor. In 2019, they joined Otevřená místa, z.s. as a System Administrator, and worked there until 2020. Currently, Martin is working as a Firmware Engineer at SatoshiLabs.

Martin Milata has a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Masaryk University Brno, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Martin then pursued a Master's degree in Theoretical Informatics at the same university from 2010 to 2013. In addition, they had a one-semester stay at Aalborg University in 2010-2011, where they studied Software Systems Engineering as part of their Master's degree program.
