Andrew Cheong

Andrew Cheong has held various roles throughout their work experience. From 1991 to 1996, they worked as a Senior Legal Assistant at Allen & Gledhill. Andrew then joined the Singapore Academy of Law as an Assistant Director from 1996 to 1999. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel & Country Compliance Officer at Philips Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd. In 2007, they were the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary at Hi-P International Limited. In 2008, they became the Vice President, Head Legal & Company Secretary at Singapore Computer Systems Limited, which was subsequently bought out and delisted in 2008, leading to their transfer to NCS Pte Ltd in 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the General Manager, Group Legal & Company Secretary at APRIL. Finally, they joined SATS Ltd. in 2012 and has held the roles of Vice President, Legal & Secretariat and Head of Internal Audit.

Andrew Cheong attended the National University of Singapore from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a LLB degree in Law. In 2023, they acquired additional certifications including Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Asia (CIPP/A), and Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
