VP – Product at SatSure

Bharat Aggarwal has a diverse work experience in the field of product management, engineering, and satellite technology.

Bharat joined SatSure in 2019 and currently holds the position of VP - Product. Prior to this, they worked as AVP - Product and Senior Manager - Product Deliveries at the same company. Bharat also served as an Operations Manager.

In 2018, Bharat worked at Azimut Space GmbH as an AIT Engineer. Their role involved planning and executing tests in a thermal-vacuum chamber, building a demonstrator test for thermal energy storage on the Moon, and designing a thermal control system for semiconductor burn-in.

From 2018 to 2019, they were a Master Thesis Student at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). During this time, they conducted research on large-scale identification and monitoring of Seagrasses using satellite images and utilized the Google Earth Engine platform for cloud-based processing.

Their early career includes working at ISRO Satellite Center, Bangalore. As an Engineer, they were involved in various projects such as coordinating subsystems for the PDR of the RISAT-2A satellite, managing interfaces among subsystems and external entities, and production of mechanical housings for satellite projects. Bharat also played a key role in commissioning a new space-environment testing facility.

Bharat Aggarwal completed their Master of Space Engineering degree from Technische Universität Berlin between 2016 and 2018. Before that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Prior to their higher education, Aggarwal attended Camridge School Noida from 1994 to 2006, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this period.
