Rounak Goel

Rounak Goel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2017, they worked as a Marketing intern at AIESEC. Following this, in 2018, they briefly worked as a Structural Design Engineer at VRP Consultants Ltd. Moving forward, in 2021, Rounak served as a Geospatial Research Intern focused on Climate Change at CityAI. In 2022, they worked as a Geospatial Analyst at Electrek Explorer and as a Project Intern - Technology for Conservation at WWF-India. Currently, Rounak is working at SatSure as a Geospatial Analytics researcher, specializing in research and development.

Rounak Goel completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering from Anna University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate from Chinmaya Vidyalaya in 2015, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences.

After their undergraduate studies, Rounak pursued an M.Tech degree in Geomatics from CEPT University from 2020 to 2022. Rounak also attended the Winter School at Wuhan University in 2021, although the field of study for this program is not specified.

In addition to their formal education, Rounak obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the Advanced Certification Course in Geo-Informatics from the Centre for Environment and Development.
