Amanda Lax

Amanda Lax has a diverse work experience in the field of design and art direction. Amanda most recently worked as a Senior Art Director at Saturday Creative since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at BURKE, where they held multiple roles including Associate Creative Director from January 2020 to May 2021, Senior Art Director from April 2018 to January 2020, and Senior Designer from July 2017 to April 2018. At BURKE, they were responsible for art direction, managing a creative team, and designing various materials for print and digital advertising. Before BURKE, Amanda worked as a Senior Designer at HMH from June 2012 to June 2017, where they handled concept and design for clients in publication, print advertising, direct mailers, and web design. Amanda started their career as a Graphic Designer / Jr. Web Designer at Pinstripe Inc. from October 2010 to April 2012. Amanda also gained experience as a Print Technician at The Art Institute of Charlotte from October 2009 to September 2010, and as a Graphic Designer at both Charlotte Style Magazine from March 2010 to May 2010 and Lexington County Chronicle & Dispatch News from February 2004 to July 2006.

Amanda Lax attended The Art Institute of Charlotte from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Graphic Design.
