Michael Payne

Michael Payne currently serves as Vice President of Architecture at Sauce Labs since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Upward, where contributions were made as an Advisor and Head of Engineering, focusing on climate tech within Techstars and Cleantech Open Northeast Alumni, from December 2022 to July 2024. Previously, as VP of Software Engineering at Spark Grills, Michael played a key role until the company's acquisition by Char-Broil in November 2022. Earlier positions include Director of Engineering and Product Team Lead at Aquicore, where efforts centered on commercial real estate energy sustainability, and Senior Principal Fullstack Developer and Automation Engineer at Dante Inc., contributing to e-commerce platform development for major clients.
