Crown Prince and Prime Minister to localize half of the military expenditure by 2030, SAMI was founded in May 2017 as a national entity concerned with developing and supporting defense industries in the Kingdom, and enhancing its self-sufficiency. SAMI will be one of the most important outputs of vision 2030 which requires the activation of new sectors and the opening prospects for local investment.
