Abdullah Alrasheed

Abdullah AlRasheed is an accomplished IT Development Senior Director at the Saudi Central Bank – SAMA, with extensive experience in leading technical teams and managing the development of payment applications and internal enterprise solutions. Notably, Abdullah has held senior roles at SAUDI PAYMENTS, where leadership of over 70 developers facilitated the implementation of critical payment systems including mada and Apple Pay. Abdullah's career also includes significant positions at SAMA as Head of Quality Assurance Division, enhancing payment product standards, and at Alinma Bank, where core projects like prepaid cards and POS systems were successfully managed. Abdullah's foundational experience in software engineering at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority involved critical migrations and technological advancements in national payment systems. Abdullah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University and completed a Leadership Programme at INSEAD.
