Yasser A. currently serves as the Director of the Monetary Economics Research Department and Head of the Monetary Economic Analysis Section at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), where responsibilities include providing policymakers with both periodic and ad-hoc analyses related to Saudi Arabia's monetary policy and its economic implications. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Monetary Policy Specialist at SAMA, where Yasser prepared economic analyses for the Monetary Policy Committee, and as Policy Manager at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, focusing on social benefits and income support programs. Yasser contributed as a Policy Advisor for the Saudi G20 Finance Track Program, engaging in policy development and global economic assessments. Previous roles also include Economist at The National Commercial Bank, where contributions involved economic reviews and reports, as well as volunteer work as an Outreach Specialist with HIv Alliance. Yasser holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Oregon.
