Abdulwhhab al-Shehri

Abdulwhhab Al-Shehri is a seasoned finance and technology professional with extensive experience in banking and investment sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) since April 2019, Abdulwhhab specializes in redesigning processes, establishing key process controls, and implementing digital tools such as RPA and AI in finance applications. Previous roles include Head of ATM and Self-Service at SABB and various leadership positions at Samba Financial Group, including Head of Channels and Cards, where responsibility for 45 applications and their integration with Core Banking Solutions was undertaken. Abdulwhhab's career began at Saudi Hollandi Bank, and Abdulwhhab also worked as Executive Secretary at the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Leicester and a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Computing from Arab Open University.
