Maziar Alamouti

Maziar Alamouti's work experience includes being the Head of Trading - International Investments Division at Public Investment Fund (PIF) since July 2020. Before that, they were the Head of Trading at Quilter Investors from May 2018 to July 2020, where they set up and ran the trading desk for a GBP20bn multi asset fund. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Trading/Partner at Agilis Investment Management LLP from January 2017 to May 2018. Maziar also worked as a Trader at Fortress Investment Group from September 2007 to December 2016, trading various asset classes and managing a tail hedge book. From February 2004 to September 2007, they were an Equities Trader at Meditor, a $3bn hedge fund, where they traded equities and developed relationships with sell-side professionals. Maziar began their career as a Proprietary Trader at Black Diamond Futures from February 2003 to February 2004, trading equity and fixed income indices using arbitrage and other strategies.

Maziar Alamouti obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Reading between 1998 and 2001. Following that, they pursued an MSC in Financial Markets at the University of Southampton from 2001 to 2002.
