Michiel Roodenburg

Michiel Roodenburg is an experienced professional with a strong focus on sustainability, ESG integration, and project finance. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President at the Public Investment Fund since March 2022, Michiel leads Sustainability Performance Management and contributes to strategic development. Prior roles include Manager at KPMG, where Michiel managed key account performance and sustainability advisory services, as well as business development for the Global Himalayan Expedition aimed at improving rural living standards through renewable energy. With a foundation in consulting for sustainability issues and infrastructure advisory, Michiel has played key roles in various organizations, including co-founding Cycle for Water. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Finance & Investment from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
