Omar El Ouazzani

Omar EL OUAZZANI is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment banking and capital funding advisory. Currently serving as a Capital Funding Advisor at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) since June 2024, Omar has previously held the position of Vice President at MUFG from December 2022 to March 2024, and worked as an Associate Banker focused on Energy in the EMEA region at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) from July 2017 to November 2022. Omar's career also includes roles at the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN) as a Project Development Associate, Wagram Corporate Finance as an M&A Intern, and UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking as a CAC 40 Coverage Intern, among others. Educationally, Omar holds a Master's degree in Financial Engineering with a concentration in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking from emlyon business school and a Master's degree in Finance from Groupe ISCAE.
